【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodetermineparticlesizedistributionsformaterialspecifications,manufacturingcontrol,andresearchanddevelopmentworkintheparticlesizerangeusuallyencounteredinfluidizablecrackingcatalysts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofparticlesizedistributionofcatalystandcatalystcarrierparticlesusinganelectroconductivesensingmethodandisoneofseveralvaluablemethodsforthemeasurementofparticlesize.1.2Therangeofparticlesizesinvestigatedwas20to150m(seeIEEE/ASTMSI10)equivalentsphericaldiameter.Thetechniqueiscapableofmeasuringparticlesaboveandbelowthisrange.Theinstrumentusedforthismethodisanelectriccurrentpathofsmalldimensionsthatismodulatedbyindividualparticlepassagethroughanaperture,andproducesindividualpulsesofamplitudeproportionaltotheparticlevolume.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
